Over the course of your apprenticeship, you will be embarking on a journey in ecological and regenerative food production and land stewardship. Working alongside mentors you will learn about regenerative farming principles like building healthy soil, growing biodiversity, promoting clean water cycles, carbon sequestration, practicing ethical animal husbandry, and supporting caring people and communities.

This online course was designed to orient you to Young Agrarians and the Apprenticeship Program. It will provide training tips and resources for your first season of farming.

The course will take approximately 2 hours to complete and can be done in 10-15 minute chunks. We encourage you to complete the modules before your apprenticeship begins, but the course is here for you as a refresher throughout the season.

All course content is accessible through our program website, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can begin working through the material any time and are able to stop, start, or go back over any content as needed.
