ABOUT THE LAND
Conveniently situated just off Highway 1 in Langley, two to six acres of land are available on this 150-acre heritage property. Historically, the property was a renowned cattle farm and more recently, it has been used as an equine hospice.
Today, there is a vineyard in development on the property, and a winery will also be built in the future. The landholder would like to host more small farm operations on the unused parcels, which are fenced and are currently being hayed. The property is served by an artesian well, and has power available for use.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The landholder’s long-term vision is to build a thriving agritourism destination offering recreational and educational experiences to visitors. So, this would be a great opportunity for farmers who thrive in a community space and would enjoy showcasing their operation.
The farm also currently functions as an event space and is a prime filming location, so the property must remain groomed and aesthetically pleasing.
There is a 4,000 square foot barn on the property, which may be available for use. There are also possible options for accommodations, if the incoming farmer is interested in living on-site.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The landholders are open to proposals from commercial growers. Flower farming operations would be preferred, but fruits, vegetables and small livestock would also be considered.
As the property is an event space and will be a tourist destination, the incoming farmer will need to keep their premises clean and tidy, and would have to abide by a code of conduct.
