Located at the base of the majestic Skimmerhorn mountain range, this scenic 10-acre property offers 1-3 acres of arable land for market gardening! Up until 2020, the land was used for a large vegetable garden, a flock of laying hens and a few pigs, and it has also been cut for hay in the past. The farming area has full sun exposure, though the Canyon-Lister region experiences cooler temperatures and a slightly shorter frost-free season compared to the nearby Creston area, due to its proximity to the Skimmerhorn range.
The property is fed by a local creek crossing through it and is partially wooded outside the growing areas, offering shade along the creek and pleasant spots to cool off during the summer!
