ABOUT Stable Harvest Farm
Since 2020, Stable Harvest Farm—a non-profit organization—has donated over 360,000 lbs of fresh produce to local communities. We have also educated thousands of children, schools, and families through our on-site educational tours, which teach them where their food comes from and why protecting the environment matters. In 2025, we plan to expand our petting zoo. We also follow regenerative organic farming principles to maintain healthy soil and support biodiversity.
DESIRED QUALITIES
We’re looking for Farm Education Crew members to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who loves learning, teaching, and working on a beautiful 65-acre regenerative organic farm. This role includes opportunities to work with farm animals and educate children.
Experience in farming is helpful but is not essential if the candidate is eager to learn about farm life.
POSITION TASKS
- Lead groups of school students through our education garden, covering key talking points and guiding them through their task books
- Support the team with set-up and clean-up for programs
- Assist in all aspects of crop production, including bed preparation, seeding, planting, weeding, irrigation, harvesting, post-harvest processing, and packing
- Collaborate with others on various tasks as needed
- Maintain the farm’s high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Apply your skills on our 65-acre educational farm
POSITION DETAILS
Term: Part-time/ Seasonal until end of October.
Hours per week: 40 hours per week
Wage: $21.00 per hour
