ABOUT Goonieland Permaculture Farm
We are an off-grid Permaculture homestead located outside of Golden, BC. Our homestead includes laying hens, pigs, hemp, and seasonal vegetables. We are not a market garden—our focus is food security, and surplus is sold through our organic grocery store, Eat Pure Mountain Market. We are also working towards establishing an intentional community and various revenue streams like short-term accommodations, retreats, and workshops.
Projects for Summer 2025 Include:
Completion of two tiny homes
Construction of a 60’ x 30’ timber frame shop
Clearing & brushing for campground and fencing
New berry garden zone
Maintaining current food & hemp production gardens
Raising laying hens, pigs and ducks
Root cellar
Small & large engine maintenance
Community Master Plan development
We use the principles of permaculture to guide us, along with Korean natural farming techniques, such as creating farm inputs on site.
