ABOUT We Be Farmin’ BC

Our farm is located minutes from Cranbrook, BC. We have 2 acres of land that we organically grow vegetables for the Kimberley and Cranbrook farmers’ markets, our farm stand, local market grocery stores and food processors.

Our focus is on vegetable farming with organic and sustainable practices. No experience required as we can teach you the ropes. If you have a positive attitude and willing to work we’d love to have you on our farm.

POSITION TASKS

• Plant, cultivate, weed and irrigate crops
• Harvest crops
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market – washing, weighing, bagging produce
• Operate basic farm machinery and tools
• Assist with market setup, deliveries, prep orders

POSITION DETAILS

This position is for local farm help already living in the East Kootenay.

Term: This is a seasonal position beginning May 1 until October.

Hours per week: 35-40

Wage: Starting at $19/hr, can increase depending upon experience and performance
