ABOUT THE LAND

Just 15 minutes from Vanderhoof down the historic Blackwater Road, Newsat farms has an established poultry processing facility on 10 acres of cleared land surrounded by forest on a total 122 acre property.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Providing quality service since 2011, owners are looking for someone to take over the licensed poultry processing facility which serves the farming and ranching community from Smithers the Cache Creek. The farm also takes orders and receives, purchases and distributes poults and ready to lay hens to people across the region.

The owners are keen to retire and are looking for someone keen to take over the processing facility. In addition, there is the 10 acres of cleared land available for raising livestock, forage or another venture.

Currently, there is only the main house where the landowners reside, but there is a separate driveway and cleared area down the road that could have potential for establishing on farm housing. Owners are open to transition the land to new owners over time, and happy to provide some support and mentorship during the first season. People with long term interests preferred!
