A beautiful 80 acre parcel in Likely BC looking for new occupants! The land was originally occupied by Chinese farmers and was on the original Likely/Barkerville gold rush trail. A lot of great history in an amazing community. The property is on the bench directly above the Cariboo River and a third of the property is fenced pasture with a large garden with some fruit trees – looking to be revived.

There is a two bedroom 1000sq ft house with a 1000sq ft unfinished basement (built in the 70s). Power and running water. A large barn with a (almost) functioning kitchen can be used to host large meals, with space for communal seating. There are up to 6 outdoor showers, that could also be utilized, with some upgrades to add hot water on demand.

There are 3 other outbuildings as well, a coop, a sheep barn,  a shop and a greenhouse and a few outhouses. A reefer cold storage is available on site for summer use. Space may be used for trees during early spring tree planting, but space could be opened up to crop storage for the remainder of the season.

This opportunity would be suited to a couple, family, or collaborative group of farmers looking to realize their farm vision. There is potential for livestock, crop or mixed farming.

The owners still access the land for their woodlot and utilize some space for tree-planting activities in the spring, but the home, fields, garden, and infrastructure has capacity for a much bigger project and a greater vision, and they would love to see someone use the land to it’s historic potential. Open to long term arrangements!
