This is an opportunity to make use of about 5200 sqft, or 1/8 acre, on a beautiful, quiet hobby farm in Cobble Hill. The space is currently in grass and has been grazed by goats. There is potential to expand into an additional nearly 0.5 acre of pasture space if needed in the future once the landholders no longer have their livestock.

Water is from a well and fencing is for livestock only, no deer fencing. The site has full exposure aside from shade at the southern edge from a hedge. Easy access beside the driveway.

The landholder would like to see the space used productively, whether for food production or other agricultural use. There is a greenhouse which can be shared for seed starting etc. There is potential for collaboration in other areas to maximize the potential of the land.

There is a 3-season cabin with outdoor bathroom on the property which could be rented by the farmer if desired. The space is not currently useable in the winter months but if the farmer would like to do work to winterize it there is potential for that. There is also a basic bunkhouse which could be used from time-to-time if needed.

This land opportunity is available through the B.C. Land Matching Program. Reach out to the Vancouver Island Land Matcher at to start a conversation and learn about next steps.
