We have more land opportunities than what is listed here! Get in touch with a Land Matcher at land@youngagrarians.org to access our full land inventory and B.C. Land Matching Program support in your region.

ABOUT THE LAND

Near 228 St. and 64 Ave,  this 15 acre ALR property in Langley has 4+ acres available for farming. There are 4 parcels about 1 acre each. There is limited water available from an artesian well, but the property also has rights to draw water from the creek than runs through it. Digging a small pond or reservoir may be necessary for growing field crops. The land is flat and has good road access. The landholders have horses and a manure spreader that can be used to add fertility to the clay-based soil. The land is partially fenced. The landholders live on the property, and there are horses and egg-laying hens.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The landholders are open to raising livestock, bees and growing field vegetables. Some equipment, barn and storage space may be made available. For raising livestock, improvements in fencing would be required. For growing field vegetables, there may be concerns about deer. The landholders primary objective is making good use of the land to achieve Farm Status.
