We have more land opportunities than what is listed here! Get in touch with a Land Matcher at land@youngagrarians.org to access our full land inventory and B.C. Land Matching Program support in your region.
ABOUT THE LAND
A short commute to Quesnel is a 20 acre field of raw land available for livestock grazing. Roughly 10-15 acres is treed and 2+ acres is an existing hay field with the balance being wetland. Lots of water and subirrigation on the land!
Existing posts are in place for the front perimeter of the property and surveying will be conducted to outline the balance of the property boundaries. Long and narrow land layout is great for rotational/strip grazing.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The landowners are open to a longer term (5 years) lease allowing the interested farmer to invest in infrastructure and establish their farm business. There currently is no housing accommodation or options on the property so the interested farmer would need to live in close enough proximity and tend to livestock on a daily basis.
