ABOUT THE LAND
Located on the outskirts of the town of Terrace, on the edge of the Kitsumkalum River and Spring Creek running through the property lies an 18 acre farm complete with housing accommodations ready for your farm business!
This 18 acre farm is a blank canvas ready for agriculture production. Currently the majority of the property is in pasture with fencing on 1 side, the creek running alongside the opposite edge of property and additional fencing required at the front end of the field. An existing garden space is available that is planted to a cover crop. There are bees on the property so there is not the capacity for additional beehives.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Use the existing pasture field and garden space as is for starting your farm business or develop the land to suit your production plans. There is access to an outbuilding for storage or a work area. The availability of this shared space would be discussed and based on each specific farmer’s needs.
The property does flood annually in May/June with some years being a more significant flood than others so interested farmers should account for that potential in their business plans.
The housing accommodation is a lower level, 3 bedroom with 1 bathroom suite located on the farm.
