ABOUT THE FARMS
We have three amazing and very diverse farms in our South Okanagan Farm Tour Series — each farm has a unique story and knowledge to share! Here are a few highlights you might learn about on the farms:
- Farmers Dotter will share knowledge about cover-cropping, soil health, and garlic production
- Forbes Farm is a very diverse farm operation including: vegetables, tree fruits, berries, herbs, nuts, apiary, livestock, and even almond production! They also have lots to share about wetland conservation.
- Emilie at Organic Only Farm wants to show you how to start a farm alone and make a living on the land!
