On this page, you’ll find resources for those impacted by the wildfires, with some specific options for farmers. We will also be including charities & fundraisers for those hoping to support recovery efforts.

Animal Relocation Support
- Government of BC Livestock Relocation Program: For both commercial animals and farm pets. Prepare ahead of an evacuation, learn how to register, and receive reimbursement.
- BC SPCA: Can provide temporary emergency pet boarding and care at no cost for those displaced by the wildfires, as well as free pet food and supplies.
- Animal Lifeline Emergency Response Team: Pet and livestock rescue in times of disaster

Fundraisers

- West Coast Seeds is fundraising in collaboration with the Canadian Red Canadian Red Cross throughout August (2024) by donating 100% of their wildflower seed packets sales to their Canadian Wildfire Fund Appeal.
