In BC, multiple online platforms, directories and marketplaces where farmers and food producers (and other businesses!) can sell their fare have popped up in the last year to address increased demands for buying local, including healthy food. This post features two of the most popular that are free to register for and sell your products through!

If you’re outside of BC, you can still browse BC-made products to purchase online, many products are shipped across Canada and internationally. Likely you also have versions these kinds of marketplaces where you are and a quick online search may provide some fruitful results!

There is no fee to submit your business because the initiative has been put together and is managed by organizations that aren’t seeking profit. The site allows visitors to shop by community!

The site offers vendors the opportunity to sell gift cards. Gift cards are great for increasing sales of your products online, especially during the holidays.
