MAR 3- 5: Organic Alberta Conference – Revitalizing the Web: Cultivating Crops and Community

Posted by Dana Penrice on February 17, 2021

Do you miss going to gatherings where you can meet new people who are into organic and ecological agriculture, catch up with old friends, and discuss the latest research or innovations that might apply to your farm? We miss that too. We’re moving online this year, but we aren’t sacrificing the personal connections that make our conferences so special. The work that farmers do in cultivating connections between people, food, and soil is more important than ever. We’re here to support your learning and to help create and strengthen new links in our farm communities.

This is your chance to talk with farmers and industry leaders from all over the prairies in session Q & As, one-on-one video chats, speed-networking matches, or by directly contacting attendees you’d like to meet. Join us for old favorites like the Grain Buyers’ Networking session and farmer panel discussions, suggest your own topic in the Hot Topics session, and learn from new and inspiring speakers on soil health, organic agronomy, ecology, farm business management, and more. And our virtual trade show is a perfect way to visit a broad range of exhibitors, where you can explore the booths just like in-person, book meetings with representatives, get all your questions answered over direct text or video chats, and even hang out and network with other producers!
