Cob Stompin’ Campout: A Cob House Workshop.  August 21-24

Cob is one of the most ancient, most accessible, and most sustainable building techniques on the planet.  Using locally available materials, basic tools and skills that anyone can learn, we can build our own homes that are beautiful, comfortable, and enduring.

This four-day workshop will introduce you to the techniques and design considerations of building with cob, and provide hands-on learning on a cob tiny home under construction just outside the beautiful village of Lund, on the Sunshine Coast.
A mix of theory and hands-on learning on a variety of projects over a 2 acre site, you’ll experience all stages of cob building, including:
— Dry-stacked stone foundations
— Structural cob construction
— Fire cob and mass heating
— Plastering and flooring
