ABOUT THE FARMER

Cheryl is looking for land where she wants to produce high quality garlic for eating and for seed.

Cheryl is a very experienced business person with lots property management experience and financial backing to help in this project.

Cheryl is currently in Terrace where she is an avid gardener.

Cheryl would like to expand/develop her garlic operation and is seeking  1 acre of well draining land to  lease. She would ideally like to be in Terrace BC.

Cheryl hopes to grow into her proposed 1 acre of garlic production with the aid of a business partner and her husband who operates equipment as well as a garlic farmer mentor who grows over 30 acres of garlic. She plans market the garlic locally as well as to Raza creek farm.  Cheryl hopes this project will help employ more women in agriculture and help increase food security of the region.

LAND REQUIREMENTS

Cheryl is looking for 1 acre suitable to growing garlic which would entail good draining and adequate irrigation/water.

Cheryl is interested in implementing natural farming and holistic management of the land.
