About Snowy Mountain Organic Farm

Snowy Mountain Organic Farm is a diverse 25 acre organic farm in the lovely Similkameen, Cawston B.C. (located between Keremeos and Osoyoos). The farm has a unique orchard, large vegetable & herb garden and greenhouse, horses, dogs, and chickens. We are approaching 32 years of organic growing here embracing biodynamics, permaculture, and many unique approaches to farming. There are still so many interesting experiments to try. Charcoal EMO’s and worms just to name a few.

About the Opportunity

We seek a diverse group of people from beginners, volunteers, to apprentices &/or experienced farmers with the skills and ability to possibly lease land or crop share.

The connecting threads that keeps our group together bundles a commitment to organics, enjoying hard work, embracing the outdoors, blending the ability to work independently with the ability to work in a team.

The fruit starts with cherries, followed by the apricots. Many peach varieties from the earliest to the very latest. We also grow about 15 varieties of plums, over 20 varieties of apples old and new as well as quince & the most appetizing pears.
