Situated off Highway 99, just five minutes from Pemberton town, this serene spot offers eight acres of land for farming, plus additional space for expansion.

The eight acres near the road are flat and cleared, and the additional 22 acres on the south side of the property are currently forested. There is a service road along the eastern boundary of the property that provides access to the south side. The site is bordered by golf courses.

The property is served by city water and power is available. There has not been any agricultural activity on the land for at least a decade, so the soil has had ample time to rest and recover naturally.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The landholder is open to all types of production, including vegetables, flowers, orchards, bees, and livestock.

However, the property does not have infrastructure or fencing suitable for livestock, so livestock farmers would need to invest in improvements to make this site livestock-ready. The landholder would consider a longer-term arrangement for farmers with a strong business plan.

The landholder’s main priority is qualifying the property for farm classification, so the incoming farmer should be familiar with the criteria and application process. The incoming farmer could also live in an RV on the property during the growing season, in which case the landholder would charge a pad rental.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity would have a well thought out business plan and experience setting up infrastructure for a new farm operation. The opportunity would be ideal for a candidate who is trustworthy and who would steward the land respectfully. Farmers who are independent and prefer autonomy would thrive here.
