This scenic 30-acre property in Hope has around seven acres of land available for a variety of farming projects!
This property has not previously been used for agricultural production, and is ready to be brought to life by a new farmer (or pair of farmers). The majority of the property is forested, with about 10 acres cleared and in the process of being raised. Water is available from a well, and the landholder is working on extending power to the site.
Situated along Highway 7 between Agassiz and Hope and right next to the Fraser River, the location is conveniently close to markets and customers, while also offering immersion in nature. This is an excellent location for lovers of the outdoors.

This property offers a flexible farming opportunity open to livestock (sheep, goats or chickens), nursery, orchard, or vegetable production. A mixed operation would also be welcome at this site.
For the future, the landholder envisions this property as a thriving agritourism destination featuring farm-stay cabins and campsites. They are looking for a farmer who is interested in bringing the ‘ag’ in ‘agritourism’, while the landholder focuses on building the infrastructure necessary for this project. On the west side of the property, the landholder is also planning to grow bamboo and nursery trees.
Development plans for the property include rental accommodations. There is also potential to discuss construction of a barn, for the farmer’s use.

This opportunity would be well-suited to farmers who enjoy sharing space and collaborating with others. The ideal candidate would be community-minded and cooperative in nature who has a robust business plan.
The incoming farmer should also be ready to put in a bit of effort to prepare the land for cultivation, as it has not previously been used for agriculture.
