Once an apple orchard, the owners removed the old trees four years ago and since then have been growing certified organic garlic which they sell to local markets. Organic certification is no longer active, but could be easily re-instated as the land owners have only ever used organic methods to farm the land. The cleared area is gently sloped, has irrigation available, as well as a sweet lake view!
