ABOUT THE LAND
The whole property is 8.5 acres, divided into 3 fields and separated by timber strips and residential buildings. The land was tilled first in fall 2017, cover cropped with Fall rye and manured in the spring of 2018. The Radical BloomFarm managed the original lease and. successfully grew vegetables, as well as cut flowers for local markets. The operation was profitable in both seasons and the farmers have moved on to new opportunities. Cover crops in barley, pats and peas have been seeded in May 2021.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The land owners have their primary residence on the property and are able to lease the land in a similar way moving forward. This is an ideal set up for organic market gardeners. The ideal candidate is experienced, responsible and able to keep the farm up to the current standard.
A drip irrigation system is in place with an in- ground line from the house, in-ground hydrants, and drip line manifold. The water for this property comes from the city and may be affected by seasonal water use restrictions.
Currently a small flock of sheep and a few hens graze the middle field.
