ABOUT CampHouse Farm
At CampHouse Farm we produce over 50 kinds of vegetables on 4 acres of pristine organically certified farm land. We also do microgreens and have some laying hens.
We have been enthusiastically welcomed to the area and attend two farmers’ markets as well as growing CSA. This year we are also planning to expand into restaurant sales.
We are committed to organic principles and are moving toward a no till system.
DESIRED QUALITIES
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about small, environmentally responsible, community based farms. Potential employees must be capable of working a physical, outdoor job for 40 hours/week.
JOB TASKS
We love sharing our knowledge about farming, so you will be included in every aspect of a market gardening operation, from planting seeds, to weeding, to harvesting to sales.
JOB DETAILS
Term: We are looking for two employees. One to start May 1, and the other to start June 1. The position will go either to the end of October or November, with the possibility of part-time work through the winter.
Hours per week: 40 hours
Wage: Payment will be $15/hr, with the possibility of more depending on experience.
