ABOUT Echo Haskap Farm
Nestled in a quiet valley, three fields slope gently towards a hidden stream. In the spring, thousands of young bushes bear pale, fragrant blossoms.
Named after the neighbouring Echo Lake Provincial Park, our certified organic farm is called Echo Haskap, and we’re looking for a Farm Workers for the 2022 season.
We grow Haskap Berry – Canada’s own Superfood for our local communities in beautiful British Columbia. We are working to make Haskap a new source of pride for British Columbians and our agricultural sector and welcoming you to work with us this harvest season.
DESIRED QUALITIES
- Must be physically fit – Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Able to work in all kinds of weather
- Experience preferred but not required. On-site training/mentoring will be provided.
- Friendly personality to work with other workers
JOB TASKS
Echo Haskap Farm is looking for a full and part-time Farm Workers who can help us with
- Harvesting Haskap Berries
- Examining berries for quality and prepare for fresh market: sorting, packing
- General Farm labor
This is a great job for a high school or Uni/College student!
JOB DETAILS
Term: July – September
Hours per week: Flexible
Wage: $16.00/hour
