ABOUT Priest Creek Family Estate Winery
Priest Creek Family estate Winery is Kelowna’s newest winery located in beautiful South East Kelowna. We have 8 acres n site and 4.5 acres a block a way planted with wine grape vines. Most work will be hand on labor tending the vines and learning about viticulture.
We are a boutique family winery/vineyard. Our children also assist us on the vineyard and the lucky candidate would have to have family values and a good work ethic. Our vineyard practices are organic however we are not officially certified.
DESIRED QUALITIES
We would like a couple or two people to work together for this positions. Must be hard working, enjoy the outdoors. Most work is hand on labor in the vineyard. Lots of walking, must be physically fit. Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic. Must love farming, outdoors and have a keenness to learn viticulture.
JOB TASKS
The tasks for this position will include but not be limited to:
- pruning
- leafing
- weeding
- shoot thinning
- grape harvest
- tractor operator would be a huge plus but not required
JOB DETAILS
Term: Start date could be immediately with a duration until November 1st, depending on harvest. This position would be available again to start pruning again in March or April for the season until November.
Hours per week: Looking for 30 – 40 hours per week times two people.
Wage: We are offering $15.65 per hour. Accommodation is also available if required.
