ABOUT Sunkiss Acres
Sunkiss Acres is nestled in the beautiful Garnet Valley of Summerland. My husband and I planted 5.5 acres of Haskap berry bushes in 2017.
The Haskap is one of the most nutritious superberry discoveries in recent years. It is naturally delicious with a unique tangy sweet flavour. Haskap have 3 times the antioxidants and 4 times the anthocyanin of blueberries.
Our Haskap field is sloped facing west and receives an abundance of sun the majority of the day.
We have dedicated our effort in growing our berries without any use of pesticides or herbicides. We fertilize our field with certified organic fertilizers only. The entire field is covered with overhead bird nettings.
Our Haskap berries look good and taste good!

JOB TASKS
Berry picking, cleaning, sorting and packaging. We pick during evening and occasionally early morning and clean, sort and package during day time. Removing bird nettings when season is over.
JOB DETAILS
Term: Now to mid or end of July
We are looking for berry pickers and labourer to sort, clean and package fresh berries for retail stores and who can work part to full time till harvest is over (mid to end July).
Our bird nettings are removed after harvest is done and last a few days only.
Wage: $15.20-$16.50/hour based on experience
Hours per week: Part time. Between 20 and 40 possibly more during peak season.
