About Boone Run Farm
120 acre farm. 55 acres planted in organic hay. Very hilly. 50 sheep. Working On expanding rotational grazing program. Working border collies on farm used to move stock.
Repairing land from heavy cash cropping. Significant damage done in regards to erosion on hills. Planted in organic hay. Looking to use manure from horse boarding to put on hay fields. Rotationally grazing practicing being developed
Desired Qualities
Independent worker. Must have experience in farm machinery maintenance for haying equipment. Handy at repairs. Fencing and project work. Option to bring own livestock. Must live off farm
Job Tasks
Help with haying, mowing trails, landscaping to help with erosion. Fencing repair and installation. Farm maintenance of equipment Special projects to improve farm efficiency.
Job Details
Could be permanent position. 40 hour weeks. Time flexible
Wage: $18.00 an hour plus benefits. Able to earn extra income from animals as well possibly
