ABOUT Quality Harvests / Wild West Herb Co.
We are two small farm businesses located on the same farm. Quality Harvests is focused on diverse, intensive vegetable production, and Wild West Herb Co. is focused on culinary and medicinal fresh and dried herbs. We are currently diversifying to include seedling sales and eggs from laying hens. We sell through farmers markets, a CSA program, and to local restaurants and chefs and through local retail outlets. We use minimal equipment and try to remain human scale. Our farm is located in a beautiful quiet setting in the midst of remote and wild nature.
We value growing healthy nutritious plants in well cared for soil. We follow organic farming practices and farm with consideration for regenerative principles that support human and planetary health. We minimize tillage and try to be closed loop as possible. Our hens are pastured and rotated. We hope to serve our local community sustainably grown food.

JOB TASKS
YOUR JOB COULD INVOLVE:
● Field work: bed preparation, seeding, transplanting, irrigating, weeding, harvesting.
● Processing: harvesting, washing, packing, drying, curing.
● Sales and Marketing: deliveries, farmers markets.
● Chickens: feeding, egg collection, egg washing, packing.
JOB DETAILS
Term: April – October
Hours per week: Part-time (20-30 hrs/week) and Full-time (40+ hrs/week) positions available
Wage: Competitive wage based on experience. Starting at minimum wage for inexperienced employees, and starting from $20/hr for experienced employees,
