CHEP Good Food Inc. in Saskatoon, SK is seeking an Intern Program Coordinator!
ABOUT CHEP Good Food Inc.
CHEP Good Food Inc. operates one agricultural site in Saskatoon focused on small-scale food production, education, and community engagement. Production includes a variety of vegetables, fruits, and some flowers grown for our community programming and local distribution.
Work takes place in outdoor garden spaces using hand tools and small-scale equipment. The program prioritizes accessible, hands-on growing practices rather than large-scale mechanized farming. Produce supports CHEP’s community initiatives, including food access programs and local markets.
CHEP’s urban agriculture work is grounded in ecological growing practices, community access, and education. The focus is on sustainable, small-scale food production that prioritizes soil health, low-input methods, and environmental responsibility.
The gardens are also learning spaces, where participants build practical skills while contributing to local food systems. CHEP values collaboration, accessibility, and creating welcoming spaces for people to engage with food production.
We host two weeks of garden day camp on-site in the summer, have gardening demonstrations and workshops, and are developing a small food forest.
