Sacred Earth Eco-Farm is seeking a Farm Hand for the 2021 season!

About Sacred Earth Eco-Farm

Sacred Earth Eco-Farm is a Small but growing organic farm located in Salmon arm BC. We have ben Supplying fresh greens and veg. to more then six of our local grocery stores since 2017. We use a mix of old farming techniques and new technologies from today. No tractors on our farm, we seek a deeper connection to nature and better understanding of soil to feed people a healthier food.

Desired Qualities

Work experience, skills and education:

Any work experience in farming gardening or any related skill would be great but we are willing to teach. We know farming is not a common job…

Skill requirements goes like:

• Able to work outdoor in all weather condition
• Able to work as a team and independently as different task have different focus
• Good attention to detail, especially in the wash station
• Being fit carry bins and push wheelbarrows
• Have knowledge of using hand tools and power tools

Job Tasks

Weekly responsibilities will be:

• Harvesting various crops
• Preparing beds (removing old crop and weeds, adding compost and shaping it ready for replanting)
• Seeding/Transplanting
• Washing, sorting and packaging finial product for delivery
