ABOUT Ancestral Roots Farm
We are a full running organic farm with many varieties of produce. We also have laying chickens, goats, and cows. This is a very organized but fun environment. We work hard but are always open minded to new ideas. Everything is decided as a whole. This farm is a beacon in the community , whether it is meeting all the people coming to the farm, farm tours, kid camps, etc.
We are a huge nutrition wealth of knowledge from some of us with nutritionist backgrounds, chef backgrounds, and more. While you are here you will understand the ancestral way of life towards health and longevity and be able to finally understand a true connection between health and the fuel we use to change it.
DESIRED QUALITIES
Someone who is passionate about growing and strong sense of community. To be able to learn but never afraid to work hard to get a task done. Most importantly believe in there own health and well being to inspire others, then from that have the ability to teach.
JOB TASKS
Everything from: cropping, harvesting, farm maintenance, chicken egg cleaning, feeding animals, landscaping, seeding.
JOB DETAILS
Term: Start first week of May. This is a full time position long term.
Hours per week: 30 hrs or less
Wage: Depending on skill level hourly or percentage of farm sales. You could have your own accommodation on the farm.
