Pattison Farms is seeking two full time employees for the 2017 growing season (March-October) that would like to learn about small scale vegetable production.

Pattison Farms is a highly successful small to mid-sized certified organic vegetable farm in the Comox Valley using intensive production tools and techniques, innovative business processes and product marketing to many local restaurant and retail customers. We grow an assortment of high quality vegetables and transplants both in field and greenhouse.
Applicants must be physically fit and enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather as part of the team, you will also be expected to work at tasks on your own. We are a Monday to Friday farm with summer hours of 7 am until 3 pm. Wages start at $10.85/hr based on experience .
This is very physical work which includes all aspects of vegetable farming such as lifting and carrying crates, seed planting, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, cleaning and packaging.
We will provide you with the important information and experiences as a basis for operating a small-scale vegetable business. Candidates with experience, knowledge as well as a desire to have a career in farming will be given preference.
