Quinn Farm in Notre-Dame de l’île-Perrot, QC, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Farm Hand!
We are a fruit and vegetable farm, growing everything from asparagus, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, garden veggies, sweet corn, apples, pumpkins and squash and Christmas trees. We offer U-pick, we sell in our farm shop and at 1 farmer’s market, and we transform everything we grow into delicious preserves, meals, baked goods, etc. So we are a farm, a shop, and a u-pick destination, making us a great agritourism spot in our area.
We do what is called integrated pest management and a lot of hard work and passion is put into it. We will do everything in our power to protect our harvest and make sure we offer safe and quality products to our guests. Our vision at Quinn Farm is for every consumer to have access to quality, local food, while positively contributing to our community and helping elevate the entire industry. Our mission is to give all our guests access to responsibly grown fruits and vegetables from our farm, high-quality local products, and to offer an authentic, fun, and educational experience related to farm life and food production.

We are looking for someone that is hard-working, flexible with their schedule and their tasks, someone that has social skills (as we are open to the public) and someone bilingual (French and English). Someone that can work alone and as part of a team.

Term: We are trying to fill a permanent, year-round position.
Hours per week: The work schedule would be 40 hours a week, weekends required. Some days might be longer, some might be shorter. From April to November it’s pretty much full-time. November to March it’s quietter but there is always some thing to do at the farm.
Wage: $17-$22 based on experience and availability. Other benefits would be our employee discount for everything in the store, free admission to the farm for family, fun paid team activities throughout the year, lunch provided during busy weekends, and many more perks offered to the discretion of supervisors.
