ABOUT Sage and Solace Farm
Sage and Solace Farm is a family-run, sustainable flower farm and venue! Set in the heart of the Fraser Valley, on acres of open land, we use regenerative and sustainable practices throughout our work.
Our specialty is flowers, as well as small-batch produce grown for our family. Our space is more than a private farm, we are a venue for weddings, workshops, farm stays and community events!
Lots of the work done here is the maintenance of the farm, and preparation for events. Planting, weeding, harvesting, clipping back and always, weeding.
in 2018 we decided to leave our lives in Vancouver in pursuit of better physical and mental health. What began as a love for a simpler time has grown into a haven for inspired living that marries style, sustainability, and soul.
We purchased land to prioritize regenerative farming, support pollinators, grow heritage flower varieties, and create homes for birds and wildlife displaced by development.
By healing the land we have created a little piece of paradise and a magical space that offers solace to all who visit.

DESIRED QUALITIES
We are looking for someone with a love of the earth!
As our main crop is flowers, an interest in gardening and botanicals is a plus. The work can be physically demanding, and incredibly rewarding. Our ideal candidate takes pride in hard work and enjoys the feeling of sore arms after a full day.
Communication and a willingness to learn are also great qualities!
POSITION TASKS
- Perform a variety of farm tasks, including weeding, garden maintenance harvesting, and preparing for events.
- Provide support during farm events, including set-up and breakdown, which will require weekend and evening work.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, bending, and must be able to lift 40+ lbs.
- Cleaning and maintenance
POSITION DETAILS
Term: Starts June 1, 2024. This job is intended to run through the summer, with the potential to move into full-time.
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Wage: $18-$20/hr depending on experience
