ABOUT Sproule & Daughter’s Farm
Looking for workers to come help us for our 2025 season!
We produce certified organic peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots and cherries.
We sell at local markets and farm gate sales.
We are a small, 3rd generation, certified organic family farm.
We pride ourselves on the quality of fresh fruit we tree ripen and grow.
We have 3 young children and my parents also live in the farm. We have a beautiful camp site with 2 outdoor kitchens a, hot showers , flush toilets and a covered hang out area… you will need to bring a tent!
DESIRED QUALITIES
Looking for workers to come excited to work and learn.
We are not a “high-ball” farm, so we are looking for people who enjoy a laid back, small time, family farm vibe.
POSITION TASKS
- Picking and sorting peaches
- picking and sorting cherries
- cutting and freezing peaches in our commercial kitchen
- helping at the markets
- farm gate sales
- weeding
- farm clean up
POSITION DETAILS
Term: Looking for 2 workers to start June 1-mid September (June is for thinning peaches full time) and 4 more workers mid July-mid September!
Hours per week: We will have 30-40 hours a week of work. If there is lull time (waiting for crops to ripen etc) we have neighbors and other farmers that we can arrange more work.
Wage: We pay $18 per hour with some room for a raise.
