Sproule & Daughters Farm in Lake Country, BC is seeking a Farm Labourer!

ABOUT Sproule & Daughters Farm

We are a 3rd generational farm located in the heart of Oyama. We produce a wide variety of soft fruit including peaches, cherries, plums, apricots, and nectarines. We sell mostly at local farmers markets and farm gate sales.

We have recently taken over the farm from my parents. My grandfather bought the land in 1946, my dad in 1991 and finally us in 2021. We are passionate about keeping our earth clean and happy. We follow organic practices through our organic body (NOOA).

We are looking for employees that are up for some hard work, can problem solve, work as a team and enjoy being outdoors!

JOB TASKS

Picking, packing fruit, processing peaches (cutting), farmers markets, gardening, thinning peaches.

JOB DETAILS

Term: June 1- September 15

Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week. If we are slow one week we have many other farm connections to keep our employees working full-time hours.

Wage: We pay $18.00 per hour and $8.00 per 20lb bucket of cherry picking. We ask for $100 deposit to hold your spot. This $100 goes towards rent – We have 2 bathrooms with hot showers, flushable toilets, 2 fully stocked kitchens, a covered hang-out space, WIFI, and lots of areas for tents.
