Bite Me Organics in Kelowna, British Columbia is seeking a Farm Worker!
ABOUT Bite Me Organics
My husband Richard and I operate a 10 acre Certified Organic orchard. We grow peaches and nectarines but our main crop is apples. We require farm help from now to the end of October.
We live in East Kelowna which is mostly a farming area. We are close to the downtown area (within 8 km) and have a bus route within 2 km. We have two tractors and an ATV. We sell to an organic packing house and also have fruit stand that we operate from our barn.
We farm organically because we are both interested in the environment. Richard has completed his Masters Degree in sustainable farming. We have farmed for 40 years. The last 15 has been organically. We have been certified for 13 years.
We farm because we believe in growing healthy food at affordable prices.
We are kind, considerate and fair to people that work for us.
