Fairfield in Grand Forks, BC is seeking a Farm Hand!
We are a small but quickly growing family farm in Grand Forks, BC. We practice regenerative agriculture here as we value or land and the future our kids!
Currently we raise hair sheep for meat and pasture raise organic fed chickens. We process our own chickens for sales.
We have guardian dogs living with our animals which require lots of love and attention!
We are building a horse boarding facility here so things are getting busy starting in May!
We run our farm always with the future in mind. How we practice now vs how it will affect the land in the future.
We are not certified organic but that is a mindset we carry daily when developing and creating our farm. We feed our animals organic, we eat organically in the home and our hay fields are not sprayed with any synthetic fertilizers.
We have a huge focus on humane care from start to finish for our animals.
We are looking someone who is hard working and self motivated! A little gumption goes a long way to getting through a productive day!
We would like a friendly outgoing person who can handle the presence of kids during the course of the day!
