ABOUT We Be Farmin’ BC
Our farm is located minutes from Cranbrook, BC close to the Community Forest trail system and great views. We have 2 acres of land that we organically grow vegetables for the Kimberley, Cranbrook and Fernie farmers’ markets, CSA baskets, local market grocery stores and food processors.
Our focus is on vegetable farming with organic and sustainable practices. We want to supply our local community with healthy, nutritious, chemical-free food.

JOB TASKS
- Plant, cultivate, weed and irrigate crops
- Harvest crops
- Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and tools
- Assist with market setup, deliveries, prep orders
Work requires:
- A combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling
JOB DETAILS
Term: The position starts May 1, 2023 for 24 weeks for the summer season.
Hours per week: 35
Wage: $20/hr
