ABOUT Ikigai

Ikigai is a certified organic mixed vegetable farm in Chase, BC. We’re growing on just under 2 acres of leased land with room to grow. We sell to farmers markets, restaurants, grocery stores in addition to running a small CSA. We are currently a 2 person team, Kristen and Steve – with a combined 15 years of experience in market gardening. Our vision for Ikigai has always been to become a workers co-op. Ikigai was established in 2020 and is a small but quickly growing farm business. We do some work with a tractor and a walk behind tractor but also use a lot of people power. We are always fine tuning our methods and systems to maximize efficiency and implement regenerative practices.

We believe in self responsibility, equality, equity, and solidarity.
