
Len Regenerative Farms in Bowmanville, ON, is seeking a Market Garden Assistant/Farm Hand!
Len Regenerative Farms is a diversified farm that aims to produce a high-quality variety of whole food products using soil-building and ecologically responsible practices.
The farm is a 60 acre property with different terrains. This will be the first season growing mixed vegetables in a 1 acre no-till regenerative market garden, as well as a small scale egg operation. As the season progresses there will be preparations to increase production in the following year.
Products will be sold in a physical location in Toronto as well as wholesale and online.

Wea re lookin for an employee that meets the following criteria:
Able to commute to farm as public transportation is not available close by.

The employee will participate in all aspects of the market garden production and property maintenance. Daily tasks are varied and may include:

Term: The position is open from mid April to early November
Hours per week: Employee will work 35-40 hrs per week
Wage: The position will pay $19 to $21. This is negotiable based on ability to take on more responsibility and demonstrated experience. We can offer a flexible scheduling based on when specific tasks have to be done in the season. There will also be access to free, fresh vegetables.
Employees will be on payroll and all current Ontario labour standards apply.
