About Blue Bunch Farm
Blue Bunch Farm is nestled the beautiful Thomson River Valley, near Savona, B.C. Our farm has a small orchard of about 27 fruit trees, a large heirloom tomato garden and a small vineyard. The farm is also home to a small horse rehabilitation program called “Recuup” which houses six horses on a track system. As for our business operation we are home to Blue Bunch Farm Bakery, which produces organic wild yeast fermented sourdough bread and hand crafted pastries for the Kamloops farmers market twice weekly, we also process all of our fruit & vegetables for value add products for the market, which includes, canning, dehydrating and fermenting.
We love Art, and mother nature is the worlds most amazing artist. There are so many beautiful mediums here to inspire your creativity. If you like to cultivate, cook, bake, paint, build or love the art of riding horses this is your paradise.
Desired Qualities
We are looking for a positive, cheerful, self motivated and hard working individual that has confidence in their skills and feels inspired by living on the land.
Job Tasks
We have a variety of different tasks that need managing daily, ideally we look for someone inspired by cultivating and looking after the farm, weeding, watering, mowing, help with dishes in the kitchen, food prep & processing, help looking after the horses.
Job Details
Term: Position runs May through October.
Hours & Wage: We are looking at 11 hours work in exchange for room & board, any hours above will be paid at a wage of $16 hour to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
