Muir Farm in Abbotsford, B.C. is seeking a general Farm Helper for the 2021 season and possibly beyond.
ABOUT Muir Farm
Hay Custom round baled. Large organic garden. Meat goats. 3 acres of Raspberries.
Situated in West Abbotsford.
Tractor and implements.
Hand tools.
Farm Sales.
I am looking for a person to reside here in the farm house.
Separate suite will be available. To assist with and learn about farming here in the Fraser Valley.
I am not certified organic but have practised same here since 1978.
I am interested in mentoring as I have done in the past.
Hourly wage and rent to be discussed!
DESIRED QUALITIES
Honesty, loyalty, punctuality and a sense of humour!
JOB TASKS
All associated with the day today functioning of the farm and garden.
JOB DETAILS
Term: The rental could be permanent and the work seasonal with other employment or studies being pursued!
Hours per week: As many as needed!
Wage: Wage would be in the $20 range.
