APR 11, 2026: Demmitt, AB – Peace Country Mixer

Apr 11 | 2:00pm - 8:30pm

Calling all Peace Country farmers! Join us for a casual gathering on Treaty 8 Territory to connect, learn, feast, and celebrate all things farming.

This event will include:

  • A community space where you can get to know other new and aspiring farmers in the Peace Country, while discussing ideas that will help build relationships, grow local food systems, and foster a more inclusive and resilient farming future
  • A screening of “Women Who Dig” followed by Q&A with Trina Moyles and Anna Kuelken
  • A delicious potluck dinner!

In the spirit of YA Mixers, this is an opportunity to build transformative relationships among each other rooted in the common desire to steward the land by learning from one another.

The mixer is open to everyone – whether you are 3 or 83, we welcome agrarians of all ages!
