Posted by Hailey Troock on July 16, 2018

Meet your Columbia Basin Program Coordinator, Brittny Anderson

Brittny Anderson grew up in the Columbia Basin. She is excited to join the Young Agrarians team and work with farmers around the region. Brittny became deeply passionate about food systems while working as an intern at Bija Vidyapeeth (Earth University) Vandana Shiva’s Biodiversity Conservation Farm in India. Since her internship, she has earned her M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Policy, worked for local governments (RDCK, Town of Creston, City of Cranbrook) and is an entrepreneur. In her free time Brittny loves to garden, cook, hike with her dog and spend time on the water.
