By participating in this workshop, you will become well versed in the business planning process, market access and analysis, product development, financial planning and management, quality assurance, labeling and packaging, production economics and logistics. Not only will you build-out or refresh your business plan, it’s a great opportunity to get insight from and network with other agri-food companies.

Sylvia Caldwell of Foundtree Product Design is the creator of the Food Business Accelerator Program that helps small, micro and start-up food businesses that are struggling to go from concept to commercialization develop market-ready products. Her profound understanding of food processing stems from her education in Food Science from the University if Guelph, where she completed both a Bachelors and Masters degree. With over 15+ years of industry experience, she has served in many industry roles, from quality assurance to research, marketing, sales, product development, food safety and regulatory compliance. Sylvia is a Food Processing Human Resources Council approved facilitator, passionate about helping clients mitigate risk and advancing the food industry. She is excited to share her skills with entrepreneurs like you.
