Abundance Community Farm

Abundance Community Farm is a social experiment in creating a community culture woven with the values and practices of self responsibility, contribution and accountability.  The Farm is located on 40-acres of land in Agassiz, BC, 1.5 hours east of Vancouver. There are 5  residents living on the farm, and a network of over 60 Community Agriculture members who live in the Lower Mainland. Members come to the land at least one weekend a month from May to October to grow food, connect to nature, and build community. Visitors are also welcome at the farm on weekends and are invited to join in both the work and play. We aim to create a culture rooted in authentic and grounded human connection, building interpersonal skills and generating a sense of belonging.  By practicing regenerative agriculture methods and sharing our resources, skills and talents freely we displace a consumer orientation with meaningful connections and reduce our ecological footprint in efforts towards true sustainability.

We have a half acre of mixed vegetables, a half acre of herbs and vegetables specific for seed production and an acre mixed food forest. We are in our third growing season and are keen to share the lessons we have learned along the way.
