Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Farmers
– Gentle stretching – Deep breathing – Learn to learn to calm the mind and tame the nervous system.
4 DATES: Mondays, 3-4:30pm | January 20, 27, February 3, 10
WHERE: Harmony Yoga Centre, 360 Duncan Street, Duncan, BC
COST: A suggested $20 donation for the full four sessions can be paid online during registration, or at the door at the first session, in cash or farm product! No one turned away for lack of funds. Please plan on coming to all four sessions, though if you are not able to make it to every one just come to what you can.

About the Instructor
Deborah Carruthers is a student and teacher of the contemplative practices that soothe and calm our nervous systems. Being in balance is a natural state for human beings. Tools are available from the ancient wisdom teachings that are now validated in science. Creating change in your inner world will empower your life no matter the circumstances. Deborah holds a masters degree in counseling and has incorporated the wisdom teachings to work with people to increase happiness and well being. Sharing the teachings of yoga and meditation is a great joy for her.
