Somethings a’ brewing – young people on farms across BC are opening up their farms to Young Agrarians potlucks. It’s undeniable that people want to gather, eat and talk farm shop and food together. We just had two potlucks on the weekend, one in Armstrong and the other on Vancouver Island. The next round will on in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (April 24th), in Chase (May 5th), and on the Sunshine Coast (May 10th).

SUNSHINE COAST POTLUCK

Calling all Sunshine Coast farmers, farmers-in-training, farmers wanting land, friends and food lovers! Please help us spread the word about our first potluck on the Coast.

We’ve partnered up with Deer Crossing the Art Farm to gather folk and ask for some feedback on their current project:  The Smart Farm. The Smart Farm project is focused on what it would take to have multiple families buy and manage a financially viable farm, and they are looking for feedback from you.

Come feast, network with local foodies and farmies and learn a little bit about what we’re up to!

Bring a potluck dish to share and tools to eat with:)

Starts: 5:30 pm

Location: this is it. studio – 1551 Lockyer Road, Roberts Creek

RSVP: potluck@deercrossingtheartfarm.org
